Mazda North America has launched a new ad campaign specifically developed for its brand new 2013 Mazda CX-5 crossover SUV.

The video documents how good driving depends on a good car model. The spot takes place in the desert where a car literally crashes apart and explodes due to a high speed. It takes a driver, bunch of scientists and a good special effects technology to show you the dangers of a bad car. Therefore Mazda creates new, more sufficient car for any kind of driving. Better. Stronger. Smarter.

Giving an interview John Abel, MNAO director of marketing, said: “We felt it was important to create a marketing campaign that speaks to the uniqueness of the Mazda CX-5. The emphasis on science and technology throughout the campaign helps us tell the story to consumers in a different but relatable way. Essentially it’s science fiction without the fiction”.
