This free, downloadable B-roll footage from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) is for use by news media and education organizations. This high-resolution video features clips of a pilot cellulosic biomass biorefinery in Scotland, South Dakota, including wide establishing shots of the refinery, cellulosic feedstock bales (agricultural waste – corn stover), a raw feedstock hopper, pre-treatment containers used to break down cellulosic biomass solids, processed biomass ready for fermentation into cellulosic ethanol, fermentation tanks, workers taking a cellulosic ethanol sample, and cellulosic ethanol lab testing.
