Video description

The Intersec Trade Fair and Conference, which runs from January 16-18, is one of the largest security and safety platforms in the Middle East and this year’s show attracted a record attendance.
In 2010, 710 exhibitors from 50 countries participated in the event whilst 19,159 visitors from 96 countries attended. This year Intersec 2011 attracted around 800 exhibitors and more than 22,000 trade visitors, a growth of 10% in visitor numbers.
Delegates represented a wide range of sectors including health and safety, security, policing and fire with the show providing the perfect venue to meet and discuss new technologies and developments taking place across the region’s security industry.
Victor Hage, SALTO Area Manager, said "SALTO and Intersec have grown significantly over the last few years. Now the leading conference and trade show for security in the Middle East, it is a great platform to present the latest access control innovations from SALTO.”
Carlos Elosegui, SALTO Marketing Manager, said "Intersec is not just an exhibition; it is a platform where SALTO and visitors can exchange ideas. We can also demonstrate in a live environment how the innovative SALTO wireless access platform works and present the latest developments regarding access security in the region."
Victor Hage concludes "The access control industry has changed dramatically in the Emirates region over the last few years, and now includes a greater interest in the latest techniques and technology. There is no doubt that the access control industry is growing and evolving and we are seeing the security needs of end users increasingly migrating to wireless and key less building environments.”
