SpongeBob SquarePants is an American animated series that premiered in 1999. This cartoon has been received as being one of the most popular animated television programs behind The Simpsons. Interestingly, SpongeBob is the first cartoon character in history to be exhibited at the Madame Tussauds wax museum in London.
