Wizard kept hid the Dorothy friends,select the proper path and complete every mission in game. Take your plan at proper time to reach to friends. Each of her friends is trapped a given number of steps away from you. There is also an unlock and reward mechanism whereby different friends reward Dorothy with new outfits to wear while playing.
