straight, elbow, tee or cross - and a tap turns it a quarter. Steam flows
from the boiler only through pipes whose ends meet. Link the boiler to
every pressure gauge, cog and flywheel so that no pipe is left with an open
end: an open end leaks hissing steam. When every engine runs and nothing
leaks, the level is done - the gauges swing up, the gears start turning
and the whistle blows.
Boards grow from 5x5 to 12x12, with nailed-shut crates to route around.
Every level is built from a finished network and then scrambled, so a
solution always exists. Stuck? Three free hints per level - a wrench sets
one pipe in place - with no ads. Fewer turns earn more stars, and stars
turn into cogs.
Spend cogs on new pipe metals (brass, black iron, silver, verdigris) and
new workshops (foundry, engine room, airship, clock tower). Looks only -
the leaderboard ranks the furthest level you have reached.
