Every enemy shows exactly where it will strike next turn as red tiles. You see the threat, then you plan: move out of the way, shove an enemy into spikes or water for an instant kill, or push two enemies into each other for bonus damage. Each floor plays like a short puzzle, and every floor can be won with careful play.
How it plays:
- Move once and act once with each hero, then end your turn.
- Blade slashes and shoves. Archer shoots down a line. Mage blasts a tile and pushes everything around it.
- Pick one upgrade after each floor: more health, more movement, stronger attacks, piercing arrows or healing.
- Free undo for moves until you act, so there are no misclick losses.
- Daily seeded run with a streak counter, and a Hard mode that unlocks after your first win.
- Runs take about 10 to 20 minutes. Heroes that fall stay down for the run.
Features: 12 floors, 5 enemy types plus a final boss, hand-drawn vector art, procedural sound and music, touch and mouse controls, saves your best floor locally.
Emberline relies mainly on strategy. Enemy attacks are shown in advance, so you have time to plan movement, positioning, and the best use of each hero.
Yes. After each floor, you choose an upgrade such as more health, extra movement, stronger attacks, piercing arrows, or healing.
