We set out to create a vertical slice of a risk of rain clone for this jam, focusing on a 'growing' difficulty level and 'growing' number of enemies. Unfortunately we bit off more than we could chew and probably spent too much time on creating a large world and multiple character types instead of the progression mechanics. Still, we're very happy with the aesthetic, platforming and combat, albeit disappointed we don't have an obvious connection with the theme.
