Janie's Sketchbook game was inspired by the real sad story of the Jennifer Ann Crecente. She was 18 years old when she was shot by her ex-boyfriend. Jennifer Ann's Group, the organization, was created by Jennifer's father with a goal to prevent teen dating violence. They also made “Life.Love. Game Design Challenge”, an annual game contest. Janie's Sketchbook wan the award this year.
